Bockfest is a bock beer festival in Over-the-Rhine. Cincinnati’s Bockfest is the oldest and largest in the United States. It includes celebrations throughout OTR including at Arnold’s Bar & Grill, Cincinnati’s oldest saloon.

While visiting my sister-in-law and her boyfriend in St. Louis, a group did a 4ish mile cave run. The run included obstacles like a lake and thick sand along the way. The runners had to wear a head light to see in the cave. It was a pretty intense race!

We decided to check out the Duke Energy Children’s Museum when a couple of my nephews were in town. The boys had a great time playing and I got some great pictures of the fun!

Recently, a benefit was held for a family member of mine who had some health problems recently. Friends and family came together to raise a total of $40,000. Below are some of the highlights of that night!

I woke up this morning with a phone call telling me I didn’t have to come in due to the freezing rain. I decided to take advantage of my morning off by taking some shots of the ice outside our house. Ice can be beautiful if you don’t have to drive in it!!
We celebrated New Year’s Eve this year by having a low key party with some of my best friends from childhood. I made some cupcakes for the occasion and we, of course, had a midnight toast. Derby got along really well with our friends’ dog, Gunner (a pug-bulldog mix), so there’s some pictures of the two of them as well.
